Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 1hr- 1 1/2 hr

Ingredients:
-1 full spaghetti squash (depending on portion size it generally serves about 4-5 meals)
-2 tbsp of butter, or olive oil (w/e your preference)
-1 tbsp brown sugar (adds a little sweet taste to the noodles)
-salt and pepper (amount depends on preference)
-meat of your choice (sausage, chicken, beef) *Fun tip: it taste unbelievable good when you use chilli
-sauce (Preferably a red sauce, although if you are adventurous you could try Alfredo)
-cheese (optional) (I used a herb goat cheese because I was avoiding cow milk cheese, you could use feta or any cheese you prefer) *Fun tip: although I could not eat it at the  time, parmesan is always a good choice

Steps:
-preheat oven to 350 degrees
-cut the squash in half vertically, so each half is two long pieces
*disclaimer cutting a squash can be difficult, you need a large knife and sturdy cutting board, if you want a softer surfaces you can microwave the squash for 30-secs to 1 min
-Hallow out the  the seeds of the squash (you use a fork or melon baller), you should be left with circular space in each piece but lots of squash still in tact
*disclaimer, if you don’t like to waste food the seeds can be baked separately and salted for a tasty treat
-put the butter or oil evenly in each piece of the squash, sprinkle salt and pepper to your linking
-Keep the squash hallow side faced up (like a bowl) and cover in tinfoil
-place in the over for an one hour to an hour and half, depending on your microwave. Mine takes an hour and a half. (check periodically after the hour mark)
-Once the time is up, take the squash out and let sit for one min
-Stick a fork in it. You should be able to easily scrape parts of the squash with a fork creating stringy pieces (like spaghetti)
-Now you can heat up your sauce in a pan, w/e meats you have prepared, scoop up your desired amount of spaghetti squash, and add the sauce to your spaghetti. Add cheeses or whatever other fixtures you desire when eating pasta. I like to add a bit of basil for flavour. I also like to pour myself a large glass of wine and pretend I’m a classy lady. And Mangia! You now have a healthy alternative to Pasta that tastes super!
